    This isn't a hotel for families. Only one ice machine for 11 floors? We were on the third floor and had to lug the cooler down the stairs to the ice machine several times. There was a dirty microwave at the end of the hall where the ice machine was supposed to be. Someone's room key was sitting there for all three days we were there (sign of no cleaning?) No pool towels, ever. TV remote buttons worn out. AC was mediocre and the rooms were VERY small/dusty. Hotel staff was nice. Restaurant was going to charge us full price, until I threatened to walk out (kids eat free, a HI gimmick since the 70s.) The hotel description says they have a continental breakfast, but failed to mention it is $*/ea. Shower was the nicest feature there... toilet barely worked. The entire hotel (except for the first floor where things HAVE to look good) needs serious upgrading. If you're paying more than $*/night, you're paying too much.

    The hotel is conveniently located for the airport and Robinson Mall/shopping, but in my opinion is a bit far for visiting downtown Pittsburgh; however, it was clean, comfortable, and had a friendly staff, which more than makes up for the extra driving distance. My only minor complaint is that they didn't have an in-room fridge.

    Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The staff was terrific,. The room was very clean especially for a Pittsburgh Airport hotel. The restaurant/sports bar was very nice. I tried to order room service one night and my room phone would not work. I called downstairs on my cell, but cell phone coverage is weak in this area and the hostess could not hear me very well. I hung up and there was an immediate knock on my door. It was maintenance there to check and fix the phone. A moment later another knock and it was , the waiter there with a menu to take my order. I didn't have to ask. The meal was wonderful and a bargain. The breakfast buffet is a must have. The omelet bar was a great way to start the day. I will only stay at this hotel in the future. One downside; There are only two courtesy computers. They are always being used. Plan accordingly. The front desk staff happily printed my boarding passes for me. This hotel stays booked 100%. I can see why.

    This hotel was wonderful! Extremely clean, friendly staff, 24 hour business center with internet access, & best of all, a complementary hot breakfast buffet in the morning. Couldn't as for anything more! I highly recommend staying here, fantastic value!

    I have been staying in this hotel for business for the last several years. The staff always remembers my name and treats me like a returning friend rather than a customer. (The front desk staff, the manager, the breakfast staff). Those who don't know my name still greet me with a smile and ask if my room, meal, etc. is O.K. This was the primary reason that I selected this hotel as the location for my sales meeting in January of this year. The staff was very helpful in assisting me in setting up the meeting room as well as serving our buffet lunches, snacks and coffee service. I returned to Pittsburgh for the first time since January this week and the staff, of course, remembered me and welcomed me back. The amenities are great (especially the breakfast buffet) but the staff is the reason I continue to stay at the Pittsburgh Airport Holiday Inn.
